Terms of Service

1. About Skip the Line

Skip the Line ("we", "us") is an online marketplace that connects customers in Mufulira, Zambia with local restaurants for takeaway (pickup at the counter) and dine-in (order from your table). We do not operate a delivery service.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian's permission) to place an order. You're responsible for keeping your login details, phone number and order information accurate.

3. Orders & payments

  • Prices are shown in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) and include applicable taxes.
  • Payment is taken at checkout via Mobile Money (MTN or Airtel).
  • Once a restaurant has started preparing your order, it cannot be cancelled.
  • If a restaurant cannot fulfil your order, you'll receive a full refund.

4. Pickup & dine-in

For takeaway, please collect your order from the restaurant counter within a reasonable time after it's marked Ready. For dine-in, enter the correct table number — the order is delivered to that table.

5. Restaurant responsibility

Restaurants are independent businesses. They are responsible for food quality, preparation, hygiene and allergen information. Skip the Line is the technology platform that connects you to them.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Skip the Line to place fraudulent orders, abuse restaurant staff, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by Zambian law, Skip the Line is not liable for losses caused by a restaurant's food, service or closure. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.

9. Contact

Questions? Reach us through the restaurant you ordered from, or via the contact details on our social channels.
